​Contributions to the College

• I accepted the role of EMS Program Director in August 2021.
• I completed all of the documentation and preparatory for the paramedic program accreditation site visit by CoAEMSP. The program received no citations, and was issued continuing accreditation by CAHHEP through 2027. 
• I serve on the Curriculum Committee for Hawkeye 
• I serve on the Strategic Planning Committee for Hawkeye 
• I serve on Guided Pathways Committee for Hawkeye

Professional Development Activities 2021-2022

• I attended the CoAEMSP Program Director workshop in October 2021 (Zoom)
  
• I attended the National EMS Expo in Atlanta in October 2021, with Hawkeye students and faculty. (See video below)
  
• I completed an online EPIC Review course for my National FP-C certification
  
• I renewed National FP-C (National Flight Paramedic) certification.
  
• I was nominated and elected as the education representative board member of the Iowa Emergency Medical Services Association (IEMSA) on April 14, 2022
